June 26, 2010 It seems that the Ravens and the Bowling Green Panthers are talking up their upcoming game this season. The directors of both organizations were on the Youth Football Tennessee radio show. The Ravens Director stated that were going to send the Panthers back up I-65 North with their lips hanging down because of the lost they were going to get when they played the Ravens. The Panthers Director replied that the Panthers were going to make short work of the Ravens.Only time will tellwhich on was right. June 25, 2010 Da word on da street is that things are heating up in the Madison area. Da Tigers have ponced on the players in the area like a tiger pounces on a gazelle and sucking them up like an F5 tornado. As a result of their success, da Tigers are saying that they are being accused of dirty tricks by an administrator of the organization where some of the Tigers administrators were former members and coaches. Well on da streets all is fair. There are no rules, no disqualification. Having dirty tricks is a good thing. Everybody on da streets need some. Offering a better alternative to the current Madison youth football options is not a dirty trick, just good business. But street law says if you got dirty tricks, use them. It's like biting in a fight. It's a cage match in Madison and da Tigers are in it to make any competitor "Tap Out". May 6, 2010 If you have been in north or west Nashville, you may have seen a sign touting the Davidson County Colts sign-ups for football. Da word on da street is that some of them have been seen on corners begging like homeless people. Not only that but they are telling people who call the number that they are going to play home games at MLK. Da word on da street is don't bet on it. April 3, 2010 It' on da street that there is a new upstart in town. According to the snitch net, they are called the Davidson County Colts and have been accepted to be member of TYFA. Not only that but they have the audacity, the unabated gall to attempt to run on the same range as the Broncos. Silly rabbits, tricks are for kids. Don't they realize that colts can't run with Broncos. Those colts may end up at the glue factory. March 2, 2010 Da word is on da street that the Inglewood Panthers are opening a home for homeless and wayward coaches. Inglewood's Director says so many coaches seem to be losing their way, getting fired, wandering around with nowhere to go because nobody wants them that I decided to open a home for them. At da home they can sat in a rocking chair and think about winning, which they were never able to do and is why they are homeless in the first place. January 11, 2010 It's on da street that there's gonna be a "Name Game" during the upcoming season. It seems that the new organization in MSYFL doesn't want anyone to share the same name (Panthers). They challanged the Inglewood Panthers to play a game. The winner gets to keep the Panthers name and the loser has to change their name. Of course the Inglewood Director said after they got through with them, they wouldn't be Panthers but pussycats or just old alley cats. It seems there is going to be a lot of cat clawing going on this year. January 10, 2010 It's on da street that the youth teams that play out at the "Creek" won't be around for the 2010 season. Maybe da snake eaters got them. Remember the old cowboy movies where when the indians attacked they would circle the wagons? Well, it's on da street that the team from the north part of the city that wears the same colors as the local pro team was circling the cars and truning on their lights for practice. They weren't trying to hold off attacking indians but darkness. A good battery was a "must have". Hopefully everyone had a "Die Hard". The secret is out and on da street. Mid-State Youth Football league has become a multi-state league. MSYFL has added teams from Kentucky. Watch out Bowling Green, here comes the MSYFL and the Broncos. January 7, 2010 It been a while since there was an update. We have really been busy. Here is the latest. There is a bit of unpleasantness going on with the blue and gold that resides on the south side of the city. Da word on da street is there may have been a violation of their league's rules. Will there be a stiff penalty if there has been a violation? I'm sure what happens will be on da street. It is apparent that Una has managed to climb back up the mountian. The Broncos dominated the Pee Wee and Jr. Pee Wee divisions of the most competitive league in the area last year by winning the 2008 MSYFL Championships in both divisions. However things changed in 2009 when Una was able to secure the championships. Lavergne was also in the mix having won the South Conference Championship. It's on da street that Guido kidnapped the South Conference Championship trophy and is holding it for ransom. May 7, 2009
There is a lot of barking and growling in the streets of Madison these days. There is a new bulldog in the area. This bulldog sports black & gold. The MT Bulldogs are now on the scene. I bet there's going to be a lot of snarling on da streets along Gallatin Road and Old Hickory Blvd. April 4, 2009 It's on da street that the Madison Titans have more to worry about than the Trogans and the Bulldogs. It seems that there is a new organization forming that is planning to take over the Madison area. Apparently there is going to be a scramble in the Madison/Old Hickory/Goodlettsville area for the ballplayers on the north side of the county. March 15, 2009 Well, Madison has left MSYFL to head for TYFA. It seems that the Titans must have missed feuding with the Old Hickory Bulldogs so they want to get back to it. They may all be singing Kum Ba Ya now but just wait a while and see what happens. According to the communication the league received, the reason they left the MSYFL was that some other MSYFL program put a sign in their zone and someone passed out a flyer in their zone. Just think for a moment. If that was true and that's a really big "if" considering the souce, who has the power to make it go away? The answer is MSYFL. Well, if the Titans were worried about one sign or a few flyers, just wait. Since Madison is now a neutral area for MSYFL, if they don't know signs, they had better know a sign man because they will need one to try an match the flood of signs with will appear in Madison from MSYFL teams. It's not the MSYFL organization Madison has to worry about. They should be worrying about what their TYFA neighbors are doing to them. It's on da street that Madison is it's own worst enemy. Without vision the people perish. The Titans once had multiple teams. They were down to three teams last season. The three blind mice have better vision. You know the rest. January 28, 2009 Well, it appears that the Salvation Army Bobcats have went the way of the Dodo bird and fifty cent per gallon gasoline. They are no more. Don't worry. It appears that a group that calls themselves the Eastside Bobcats is trying to rise from the ashes. January 17, 2009 OK, we know we had not updated "Word On Da Street" for a while but now we are back at it. Here is the latest news: It's on da street that there are going to be some changes out East. It's said that one of the youth football organizations won't be around come July. There are three MSYFL organizations out East but it won't be one of them so go figure. Well, the kings of Pee Wee football no longer reside in Antioch. Guess where they are. WEST NASHVILLE!! April 18, 2008 The Salvation Army Bobcats have fled the battlefields of MSYFL for the safe confines and R & R of the "Ville" portion (Cookeville, Nolensville, etc) of the T league. Deep cover operatives who were at the T meeting when the chief Bobcat made his plea revealed that he said the principle reason they left was they had to play Una. Well, we hate to be the one to reveal that the chief Bobcat must have "misspoken" like Senator Clinton. The facts are the Bobcats never played Una because Una is in Division I and the Bobcats were a Division II team. Next, he may say that they came under "sniper fire". The moles also revealed that "Una" is the magic word, the boogie man. Whenever it is spoken at their meetings you can get whatever you want or everyone wants to run and hide. April 10, 2008 According to da streets, there may not be any big brown furry creatures prowling around Wedgewood but something worse. There will be Gaints in the land. They will be roaming all over out south. We're told and fairytales seem to confirm that Giants hate anything English both men and bulldogs so the dogs had better stay out the way before they get stepped on. It's also on da street that some of the indians are restless over in the league that begins with a T. The snitch network is hot. It's rumoured that some of the indians want to be chiefs and may bolt from the reservation. Our informant, that's deep inside the organization, says don't bet on it because those who would leave to try to start a new reservation first needed to go with the Scarecrow, follow the yellow brick road to see the Wizard to get the same thing the Scarecrow needed, A Brain! According to da insider, there's not one brain between all of them so they can't form anything and they don't have the juice to leave. It's "Rest In Peace" for the South Nashville Sooners. Da word on da street only confirms da death. We don't have da autopsy report however it's on da street that it might be a suicide but there are some suspicious circumstances. It may have been a "Hit" by insiders. It seems that a new bunch has taken their place called the Antioch Falcons. Aren't they in Tusculum? We wonder how far is it "as the crow flies" from Tusculum to Antioch. February 22, 2008 It's on da streets that even farther "out south", where along the main throughfare you may hear a multitude of languages spoken, the orange and white, after winning a number of MSYFL DII championships and beating at least one triple level DI team is going to volunteer to run with the big dogs during the upcoming season. The news is that they are saying they are "da truth", "da real deal" in that part of town. We'll know if they are "real volunteers" next month when division assignments are made at the monthly meeeting. Will they step up or step back? Only da shadow knows. February 9, 2008 Da streets seem to have been rather quite since the end of the 2007 season but that is so only if you have no informants or stitches. All you have to do is hem them up and shake them down to get info so here's what's up. It seems that the Bulldogs won't be the only organization out South. Large predators are going to be roaming the da streets around Wedgewood. Here's a hint: In the wild they roam the woods, snatch salmon from rivers and streams and growl a lot. Since there are no salmon in the Reservoir on 8th Avenue, they are problably going to eat Bulldog meat.
